O:Opportunity

Opportunity is the presence of a chance to prosper or advance in a particular activity in progress. The journey to success is nothing but a series of opportunities utilized optimally. The knack to grab the opportunities and to make the most of them is an important feature that differentiates the successful people from others. It is indeed a secret of success to be prepared when the opportunity knocks. Mere opportunity without enough preparation is no way helpful.

Opportunity is all about patience and awareness. One needs to be very patient to wait for the right moment. However being patient does not mean merely waiting for the opportunity but to wait and make the situation more favourable. Here comes the importance of awareness. One needs to be very much aware of the situation to seize the opportunity at perfect juncture. Being too early or too late can spoil the opportunity.

We cannot expect the opportunity to come and knock our door all the time. We need to create the opportunities from whatever resources are available. The biggest success stories in the world teach us that instead of ruing the lack of chances, the victors created their own chances. Whenever a small opening is created, the victors capture it and convert it into a proper opportunity. As it is often said, creating opportunities means looking and finding chances where others are not looking.

Opportunity lies in the middle of difficulty. There are so many examples which show us that adversities can be turned into new beginnings and new opportunities. In this sense, there is always an opportunity available for us. We just need to conquer the self-doubts and conquer it. Life will open up a lot of opportunities for us.  Every situation is a brand new opportunity. But opportunity will dance only with those who are ready on the dance floor.
